You are enough. A reflection and invitation.

A Gentle Reflection

You are enough—exactly as you are.

As the seasons shift here in Calgary, I have been thinking about how easy it can be to fall into the trap of measuring worth by productivity, resilience, or how gracefully things are held together. Inspired by a recent conversation in our community, I wanted to share this reminder directly with you.

I hope it lands with you, and maybe allows some pressures or judgements to fall away.

You are enough.

Not because you have accomplished enough.

Not because you have healed enough.

Not because you have figured it all out.

You are enough simply because you are here.

Breath by breath.

Moment by moment.

Moving through this very human experience.

The trials.

The blessings.

The gifts.

The grief.

The lessons.

The becoming.

All of it belongs.

There is nothing you need to prove to earn your worthiness of being here. You do not have to become someone else to be deserving of love, compassion, or belonging.

You are sacred as you are.

And perhaps sometimes what we need most is not another thing to fix, but a place where we can simply be witnessed in the fullness of our experience.

This is a part of what I hope to offer through therapy.

I am not standing outside of this human experience looking in. I am a human walking it too—learning, growing, stumbling, feeling, finding my way.

And I would be honoured to walk alongside you for a while.

To sit with what is difficult.

To make space for what is emerging.

To explore the places that have been asking to be seen.

To witness your lived experience with compassion and without judgment.

You don’t have to walk the whole path alone.

For now, take a breath.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Hug.

Come back to yourself.

You are already enough.

Therapy is not about fixing something that is broken. It is a dedicated space to pause, untangle the noise, and honour the fullness of your human experience. Wherever you find yourself on your personal journey, you do not have to navigate the weight on your own.

A Personal Share on the Journey

My Cyanotype Journey

Step 1: Laying the flowers

Step 2: Revealing the print

A cyanotype is created through sunlight, time, and gentle washing—much like our inner healing processes. Please accept this cyanotype print as a quiet token of connection, offering a moment of stillness in your everyday space.

In my journey of creating cyanotypes, I learned a lot about myself and my own inner journey. As this art collaborates closely with nature, the elements are not controllable. From the plants and flowers used, to the about of sunlight, UV radiation, and wind, the amount of variables were more than I anticipated when I started this new craft.

At first there were frustrations and a lack of knowledge in the exposure times, type of water to use to rinse and the impact, and uncertainty of how different flora would print.

The unexpected outcome was one of noticing my own inner dialogue, wanting things to look a certain way, and not meeting those expectations.

This led to experiences of flow and surrender, allowing the pieces to be who they are and were becoming, and appreciating them for that. At the same time I continued to build my knowledge as I did more prints, being able to more closely create a bold, expressive print, while the details continued to be out of my control.

Invitation

Is there an experience you had this summer that reflected your inner landscape back to you? What did you learn in the process? How did you respond?
